We currently have an excellent opportunity for a highly-skilled and motivated Title Examiner / Officer to lead operations at a growing title company in Phoenix. Are you a deeply passionate self-starter who is looking to grow their career? Then we have a position for you.

Responsibilities:
• Examine documents from Plant database for sufficiency in all types of transactions
• Evaluate and compile documents from the plant database for the production of the commitment of title insurance
• Answer questions from outside customers, as well as escrow and marketing personnel and produce any follow-up in a timely manner
• Review title search package and preliminary commitment
• Ensure all matters evident in the search package are adequately reflected on the commitment
• Using sound underwriting judgement and standard industry practice, eliminate requirements and clear any issues prior to commitment delivery
• Apply state and underwriter MIA guidelines within the exam process
• Identify any title curative issues such as any senior interests, FTLs, judgments, defective foreclosures and property tax issues.
• Initiate curative tasks in the system. Track and clear curatives
• Work with title underwriters to clear complex curative matters
• Perform root cause analysis for any issue leading to a title claim, escrow loss, or customer dissatisfaction

• 1-3 years title experience
