Wewant you on our team...Clark Regional Medical Center located in Winchester, a15 minute drive from Lexington, KY is searching for a full-time,day shift Registrar to join our Urgent Care in greeting patients and families at physician practice front window, collecting patient demographic and insurance information, patient visit co-pay and deductibles at Point of Service. Quickly and efficiently expedites the practice visit registration process. Provides a positive first impression of the physician practice to the public.

Essentialfunctions of position include, but are not limited to:

Ensures that all necessary demographic, billing, and clinical information is obtained and entered in the registration system with timeliness and accuracy.Distributes and explains forms, documents, and educational handouts to patients and/or family members.Verifies insurance benefits and obtains precertification/authorization as necessary. Follows physician practice revenue cycle guidelines to determine and accept required payments, including co-pays and deductibles.


Education - High School diploma - required

Previous clinic or hospital registration experience preferred
